Parking complaint. A male reported that a vehicle was blocking his driveway, but called back a short time later to cancel the complaint after realizing that it was his vehicle.

EDINA

MARCH 21

Theft. Air conditioning coils valued at $21,000 were stolen from Business Incentives, 7625 Bush Lake Road.

MARCH 23

Theft. A 43-year-old Edina man was arrested after stealing food valued at $690.92 from Lunds, 3945 W. 50th St.

EXCELSIOR

MARCH 25

Drugs. An 18-year-old Waconia man was arrested for possession of marijuana after he was stopped for an equipment violation near 3rd Street and Morse Avenue.

INDEPENDENCE

MARCH 28

Animal complaint. A resident was warned about her dog going into neighbors' yards after the dog scared a woman raking leaves in the 500 block of Nelson Road.

MARCH 29

Fire. A grass fire was reported near Turner Road and County Road 92. A firefighter arrived on the scene and determined that it was a controlled burn.

MAPLE GROVE

MARCH 21

Drugs. A 26-year-old St. Michael woman was arrested for possession of heroin and cocaine at Bass Lake Road and Vicksburg Lane N.

MARCH 23

Disorderly conduct. A 24-year-old Maple Grove man was arrested for disorderly conduct and assault following a disturbance in the 12600 block of 88th Avenue N.

MARCH 25

Vandalism. Glue was found in the keyholes of the front and back doors of a business in the 11000 block of Fountains Drive.

MAPLE PLAIN

MARCH 23

Dumping complaint. Someone threw a toilet, smashing it into pieces, at a cul-de-sac in the 4900 block of Industrial Street. A Public Works Department crew removed the debris.

MARCH 26

Theft. A 60-year-old Maple Plain woman was cited for theft after she was caught stealing food from the Maple Plain Family Center, 1500 Howard Av. She allegedly paid for items in her cart but walked out the door with steaks and other items in her purse.

MINNETRISTA

MARCH 27

Missing person. A 56-year-old man was reported missing after leaving a home in Minnetrista and failing to arrive at his destination in Golden Valley. It was determined that he had been arrested.

APRIL 2

Missing person. A father reported that his 10-year-old son was missing from their home on Covey Lane. The boy was found after he was heard calling for help after getting lost in the wetland near Partridge Road as he tried to take a shortcut to a store.

RICHFIELD

MARCH 30

Theft. A trailer containing a loader, forklift and jackhammer, valued at a total of $40,600, was stolen from the 6500 block of Portland Avenue S.

APRIL 2

Weapon. A 27-year-old Richfield man in the 7100 block of Irving Avenue S. was cited for unlawful discharge of a firearm.

APRIL 4

Assault. Officers responded to a report of a possible domestic assault in the 100 block of W. 78th Street W. A 26-year-old Richfield man was arrested for assault and terroristic threats.
