A significant storm will dive southeastward along the West Coast and then intothe Southwest later Wednesday and into Thursday, bringing widespreadprecipitation and much colder air.The heaviest precipitation will spread into Southern California Wednesdaynight, with widespread showers and even some thunderstorms into Thursday as theatmosphere becomes unstable.
As the cold air moves in, snow levels will easily fall to 3,000 feet or less byearly Thursday, which will bring snow and low visibility to the Grapevine.
As the storm moves inland Thursday, snow will spread into the higher elevationsof Utah and Arizona.
