AQUATENNIAL

Minneapolis’ annual festival has no shortage of events near water and on dry land. Check out the Twin Cities River Rats’ “Star Wars”-themed water skiing show. Agile-footed competitors attempt to stay out of Lake Calhoun at the Key Log Rolling Invitational. Exhibits about the early days of Gladstone, the community that pre-dates Maplewood, will be on view. Also cars, trucks and fire engines from before 1941. Take a guided tour of the farmhouse and barn.
