A home in Barron, Wis., and the surrounding trees were damaged after a strong afternoon thunderstorm moved through the area Friday.

Heavy rain, high wind from storm lash western Wisconsin

The worst damage occurred around Turtle Lake, Wis. No injuries were reported, but trees were downed and roofs were shredded. The St. Croix Casino Turtle Lake complex was evacuated, according to witnesses and the Barron County sheriff.
