A small two-engine plane headed for the Denver area crashed in the suburbsof Chicago around 7 p.m. CST on Saturday, shortly after taking off from theAurora Municipal Airport in Illinois.

Fortunately, all four family members inside the home wereunscathed, according to the Associated Press. The plane itself crashed into theground, killing both men in the plane.At the time of the crash, skies were overcast with thick, low clouds that werereducing the visibility to between 3-4 miles. Patches of fog were alsoblanketing the area. Just an hour earlier, drizzle was falling in Chicago.

Winds were not very strong, blowing at 10-14 mph when the plane crashed.

The National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administrationare investigating the cause of the crash.
