NEBRASKA OMAHA 3, COLORADO COLLEGE 1: The Mavericks (13-8-1, 9-4-1) moved into first place in the conference, one point ahead of St. Cloud State, by sweeping the Tigers. UNO tied the score at 1-1 on Bryce Aneloski's short-handed goal with 1:34 left in the second period. Defenseman Anrej Sustr scored the game-winner at 9:28 of the third period and, 35 seconds later, Josh Archibald gave the Mavericks a two-goal lead. William Rapuzzi scored for Colorado College (8-12-2, 5-8-1) in the opening period.
NORTH DAKOTA 3, HOLY CROSS 2: Danny Kristo's 10th goal of the season, on a power play with 5:23 to play, gave UND (12-5-3) a sweep of their nonconference series with the Crusaders (10-6-2) at Ralph Engelstad Arena. Holy Cross took a 2-0 lead, but North Dakota's comeback began on Connor Gaarder's goal with one minute left in the opening period. Michael Park's power-play goal at 4:14 of the third period tied the score. Senior center Corban Knight of UND had two assists to extend his points streak to 15 games.
NORTHERN MICHIGAN 2, ST. CLOUD STATE 1: The Wildcats (8-10-3) swept the Huskies (12-10-0) on their ice. Reed Seckel, who had two goals Friday, scored his third goal of the series at 9:55 of the third period to break a 1-1 tie. Goalie Jared Coreau made 37 saves for Northern Michigan, now 6-1-0 in nonconference games. Jonny Brodzinski had the Huskies' goal in the first period.
MINNESOTA STATE MANKATO 4, PROVIDENCE OT: Four different players scored as the Mavericks won their 11th game of the past 12. Bryce Gervais gave MSU (13-6-2) a 1-0 lead in the opening period, Matt Leitner made it 2-0 in the second. Evan Mosey and Eriah Hayes had goals in the third against the Friars (7-8-3). Hayes' goal was his 12th of the season.
BEMIDJI STATE 2, WESTERN MICHIGAN 2 (OT): The Beavers (5-11-4) took a 2-0 lead in the second period on goals by Danny Mattson and Cory Ward 2 1/2 minutes apart in the middle of the period. But the Broncos (12-5-3) tied the score as Kenney Morrison and Dane Walters scored two minutes apart early in the third. BSU goalie Andrew Walsh made 33 saves, three in overtime.
DENVER 2, CORNELL 1: Larkin Jacobson's first goal of the season at 7:45 of the third period broke a 1-1 tie and let the Pioneers (12-6-3) to sweep the Big Red (7-6-2).
WISCONSIN 1, ALASKA ANCHORAGE 0: Derek Lee scored early in the second period and Joel Rumpel stopped 12 shots as the Badgers (6-7-5, 3-5-5 WCHA) swept UAA (3-11-4, 1-10-3).
