CLOUD STATE 4, WISCONSIN 2: Garrett Roe scored two goals and the host Huskies defeated the slumping Badgers on Friday night.Nick Jensen added three assists for St. Cloud State, which took control with a three-goal second period at National Sports Center. The goals came in a span of less than four minutes, coming from Travis Novak, Jordy Christian and Roe.

Justin Schultz and Jordy Murray scored fro Wisconsin, which is 0-4-1 in its past five games and fell into a tie for sixth in the WCHA with Colorado College. Prior to this streak, the Badgers had won 12 of 13 games. Schultz scored his 17th goal of the season, tops in the nation by a defenseman.

• NEBRASKA OMAHA 5, DENVER 2: Rich Purslow had two goals and an assist, Andrej Sustr scored the tiebreaking goal in the third period and the host Mavericks scored two shorthanded goals in defeating the Pioneers to move into second place in the WCHA. Drew Shore scored in the seventh game in a row for Denver.

• COLORADO COLLEGE 5, MINNESOTA DULUTH 4: Nick Dineen had two goals to lead the Tigers past the Bulldogs in Colorado Springs. Mike Connolly had a goal and two assists to become the second UMD player with 40 points in each of his first three seasons.
