Another day, another travel date

Gov. Tim Pawlenty's map of the country is getting awfully full of pins.

He'll need another one on April 24 because the man who hasn't decided what he'll do once he leaves office will be at the Bellvue Hilton speaking to the Washington State Republican Party's Gala Dinner, the party said in a news release.

On Thursday Pawlenty was in Washington, DC at an evening reception at the Conservative Political Action Conference. He will speak at the conference Friday.

Here are some of his other planned trips:

Feb. 26, St. Charles, Missouri -- speaking at the Missouri Lincoln Days gathering.

Feb. 27, Las Vegas, NV -- speaking at the Nevada Republican Party dinner.

March 6, Dallas, Texas -- "special guest" at the Dallas County Republican fundraiser.

March 24, Washington, DC -- featured at the Susan B. Anthony fundraiser.

March 25, Manchester, New Hampshire -- keynoter at the Manchester Republican Committee Lincoln-Reagan Day dinner.

April 8-11, New Orleans, Louisiana -- speaking at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference. (Not clear which day he is speaking.)

Is Pawlenty coming to visit your town, too? Let us know.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
