Traffic stop. The driver of a vehicle in the area of St. Croix Trail and Afton Boulevard was given a written warning for having a cracked windshield.

JUNE 9

ATV on roadway. An officer observed an ATV being driven on Lacosta Drive near Doral Road. The ATV then made a U-turn and drove off through some yards near Pine Valley Road. The officer pursued but was unable to locate vehicle.

HUGO

JUNE 6

Neighbor complaint. A citation for underage possession of alcohol was issued to a juvenile in a group at a bonfire in a swampy area in the 14000 block of Geneva Avenue. Police had been called to the area on a noise complaint.

JUNE 7

Outhouse in the middle of the road. A Porta-Potty was reported in the middle of 125th Street near Goodview Avenue. An officer moved it to the side of the road.

Theft of service. An officer at the Vali-Hi Drive-In Theatre, 11260 Hudson Blvd., caught a juvenile walking in through the exit. The juvenile was given a warning about theft of service.

LAKELAND

JUNE 5

Someone using his garbage. A man in the 1000 block of Rivercrest Road called police concerned about people putting things in his garbage can.

MAHTOMEDI

JUNE 8

Suspicious object. A plastic bottle exploded in a mailbox in the 1100 block of Berwick Lane. The homeowner thought the chemical bottle bomb was probably a high school prank. The mailbox was not damaged.

OAKDALE

JUNE 8

Assist public. An officer helped lift up a 73-year-old woman who had tripped on a rug and fallen down in a residence in the 1700 block of Granada Avenue.

JUNE 10

Suspicious activity. Police checked on a report a male walking behind townhomes in the 7000 block of 48th Street carrying a beer bottle. Police located the man who explained he was walking in the neighborhood. He had a bottle of orange juice with him. No criminal activity was found.

WOODBURY

JUNE 8

Suspicious male. Police made contact with a man who was reported walking through a yard in the 6900 area of Calgary Road. The man told police he was at a party in the area the night before and slept in the back yard of the residence.

Suspicious vehicles. Two vehicles were reportedly parked in the driveway of an unoccupied house in the 2800 block of White Eagle Drive. An officer contacted the drivers of the vehicles who explained they were selling their house nearby and waiting for their Realtor to leave. They were instructed to park on the street until that time.

JUNE 9

Suspicious activity. Two realtors showing a house in the 9000 block of Princeton Road saw a woman going through a bedroom dresser. The woman, who seemed to the complainant to be too young to buy a house, said she was looking at the home for her father. After she was caught looking in the dresser, she left the residence.

JUNE 11

Neighbor complaint. Police received a call about kids playing hockey in the street on Dogwood Road and damaging a neighbor's garden with the puck/ball. Police spoke to a mother of one of the kids about the complaint and possible solutions.
