APRIL 2

Unsafe change of course. An officer observed a vehicle enter Hwy. 36 near Keats Avenue right in front of another vehicle and then proceed to make a drastic lane change. The driver was stopped and cited for an unsafe change of course.

Computer virus. Police responded to a report of a suspicious e-mail sent to a resident in the 9000 block of Stillwater Boulevard informing him he was being fined by the federal government. It was determined the e-mail had set off a computer virus and the resident was informed of the steps to remove it.

LAKE ST. CROIX BEACH

APRIL 1

Traffic violation. The driver of a vehicle at the intersection of 13th Street and Quinlan Avenue was given a written warning for failing to come to a complete stop at a stop sign.

LAKELAND

APRIL 4

Robbery. A man in the 400 block of Quinlan Avenue was beaten and robbed after letting a female acquaintance into his home at 1 a.m. Two men and another woman came in with the acquaintance and the men proceeded to assault and rob the victim.

MAHTOMEDI

APRIL 5

Loud party. Police responded to a report of a loud party at 3:45 a.m. in an apartment in the 1000 block of Mahtomedi Avenue. A woman at the residence told police she had only turned the music up for one song. She was advised to keep it down.

APRIL 8

Marijuana, drug paraphernalia. An officer stopped a vehicle with a crack that ran all the way across its windshield in the 700 block of Stillwater Road. After detecting a marijuana odor coming from the vehicle, the officer searched inside and found a small amount of marijuana in a pipe.

OAKDALE

APRIL 4

Suspicious activity. A man who had been fired from Pinz bowling alley, 7520 32nd St., was reportedly sleeping in his vehicle in the parking lot. The man told police he was tired and didn't think he should drive; an acquaintance picked the man up. Police were informed the man had been fired when he was found sleeping in the bathroom of Pinz.

APRIL 5

Underage consumption. Two juveniles were cited for drinking alcohol they had brought to school and mixed with Dr Pepper at Tartan High School, 828 Greenway Av.

SCANDIA

APRIL 3

Road rage. An off-duty police officer observed two drivers jockeying for position, and then one of the vehicles cut in front of the other and nearly caused it to drive into a ditch in the area of Stillwater Boulevard and Jamaca Avenue. The officer turned in the license plate number of the vehicle and the driver was sent a citation.

WEST LAKELAND TOWNSHIP

APRIL 1

Suspicious person. Police were unable to locate a woman who had reportedly been going door-to-door in the 12000 block of 20th Street looking for a ride to a liquor store.

WOODBURY

APRIL 2

Handicap parking violation. An officer noticed a vehicle parked in a handicap parking space in front of Zantigos, 8362 Tamarack Village. A license plate check indicated the vehicle did not have disability certificates registered to it. The driver told the officer she was waiting for someone and knew she was in a handicapped zone. She was cited for the violation.
