Warroad shuts out Lourdes 9-0

The No. 2 seed Warriors will meet top-seed Breck on Friday in the 1A state semifinals.

March 11, 2010 at 5:28AM

Already up 5-0, Warroad wasted no time upping that to 6-0 when Adam Shaugabay scored 14 seconds into the third period.

Finally, the game ended 9-0.

For those keeping score, the evening session wound up 20-1 total score.

That's one day in the books here at the X. The bigtime excitement begins in about 12 hours when the Class 2A tournament kicks off with a goodie: Roseau vs. Edina.

Get some sleep (as we all hope to do soon) and we'll catch you in the morning.
