Traveling out to Canterbury Park for the Warped Tour has been a decade-long summer tradition for Twin Cities teens (and their parents), and it won't have to end due to redevelopment around the Shakopee horse track.

The 22nd annual installment of the daylong rock-and-rollathon will return to the Canterbury grounds on July 24 with a lineup including veteran acts Good Charlotte, Less Than Jake, New Found Glory, Sum 41 and Big Reel Fish as well as more recent mainstays such as Falling in Reverse, Yellowcard, Every Time I Die, Atreyu and Mayday Parade. Tickets are on sale now for $42 at all Down in the Valley locations and TicketWeb.com.

Unlike the Soundset hip-hop festival, the Warped Tour can stay on the Canterbury Park grounds but will have to move to a new, grassy corner of the property. The old festival site where both events were held has been lost to a big, new residential development. Soundset will now be held in the Midway area of the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Warped Tour only draws about half of the 30,000 fans that Soundset gets each year, so it fits on the smaller new site.
