Opens Friday: If you love it, copy it right down to the last molecule. Such is the tactic Minnesota artist Broc Blegen adapts for his "Coming Out Party" show at the Minnesota Artists Exhibition Program gallery. His gig is to redo the work of favorite artists, including such 1990s stars as Glenn Ligon and Jenny Holzer. In a companion show, "Remnants and Rumination," Nepalese expatriate Binod Shrestha muses on the fractured politics of the country in which he grew up. Having marched for democracy and observed Nepal's civil war, Shrestha applies his political awareness to an installation in which broken pottery is a metaphor for shattered lives. (10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tue.-Wed. & Fri.-Sat.; 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Thu.; 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sun. Ends Dec. 30. Free. Minneapolis Institute of Arts, 2400 3rd Av. S.
