Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen was still on the board when the Vikings pick at No. 30 came in the first round Thursday.

Minnesota sent the pick to the Detroit Lions for the second pick in the second round. The Lions took Cal running back Jahvid Best with the pick.

The Vikings get the Lions second-round pick (No. 34 overall) and a fourth-rounder, according to ESPN.
