The Vikings ticket office has been doing some pretty good business of late.

Steve LaCroix, the team's vice president of sales and marketing, reports today that fewer than 1,000 tickets remain for the Vikings' upcoming home games against Detroit and Seattle. The Lions game needs to be sold out 72 hours before kickoff to be televised locally, although the Vikings could ask for an extension if that doesn't happen.

The Vikings will play host to the Lions on Sunday and then face the Seahawks the following week. The Lions are expected to return 300 to 400 tickets on Wednesday afternoon but those tickets would not be included in the number that need to be sold to avoid a blackout.

There is very limited availability for the Chicago game on Nov. 29 at the Metrodome.
