Isame Faciane, a member of the Vikings' practice squad, was arrested Wednesday by St. Louis Park police on suspicion of drunken driving.

The 25-year-old Louisiana native faces three misdemeanor charges, including fourth-degree drunken driving and driving without a valid license.

According to police, Faciane was observed entering closed Hwy. 7, making an illegal U-turn across the median and then going the wrong way down a Hwy. 100 ramp.

"We are aware of the situation and will have further comment at the appropriate time," the Vikings said in a statement.

Faciane is in his third season with the Vikings, who signed him as a rookie free agent in 2014. After starting his NFL career on the defensive line, he is now an offensive lineman. Faciane, who is on the team's practice squad for the third straight year, has never appeared in a regular-season game.

Faciane is the first Vikings player known to have been arrested since December 2014.
