FORMER EAGLE MAKES IMPACT

Vikings cornerback Shaun Prater didn't know he'd start until warmups Sunday. Chris Cook was scratched because of a knee injury, which gave Prater his first NFL start against the team he started the season with, the Eagles. "I've spent eight or nine weeks getting ready for just this one game," Prater said. The Vikings got Prater off waivers in October, and he was used sparingly before Sunday, when he recorded his first career interception off Nick Foles. "It's like a pit bull locked in a cage," Prater said. "He's waiting and waiting and finally gets out. The only thing he's focused on is getting to that ball. I was finally getting that bone today."
