The Minnesota Vikings have paid their bill in full for using the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium a year ago. A university spokesman said Wednesday the team, which was billed nearly $1.8 million for using the stadium on an emergency basis last December, settled its unpaid balance. A Vikings spokesman said the team had paid most of the bill, but had delayed paying the bill in full because of accounting and financial issues. The Star Tribune on Tuesday reported on the team's unpaid balance. The Vikings used the university's football stadium after the inflatable roof at the Metrodome, the Vikings long-time downtown Minneapolis home, collapsed in a snow storm.
