That seemed a little ... staged
The Vikings put together a memorable celebration after Dalvin Cook's first-quarter TD. Adam Thielen was lifted between two players as Cook and Stefon Diggs "limboed" underneath. "They planned it in the locker room before we ran out. I thought that was original and well executed ... that was going to be a tough one to pull together," quarterback Kirk Cousins said.
Vikes CB Xavier Rhodes vs. Pack WR Davonte Adams
Adams was targeted eight times and caught five, including a touchdown pass, and drew a pass interference penalty on Rhodes. Give the edge to Adams.
PLAY OF THE GAME
Roll, pass and run
The Vikings led 17-14 late in the third quarter when QB Kirk Cousins (8) rolled to his right on second-and-5 from the Packers 14. Adam Thielen (19) camped in a hole, caught Cousins' pass and turned to bull into the end zone. That proved to be the winning touchdown.
"We had to go out and earn it tonight, and we did."
