We wrote over the weekend that running back Adrian Peterson was not planning to show up for the start of voluntary organized team activities. So it should be no surprise that he was not at Winter Park today.
The show went on, though, as it did when Peterson skipped voluntary workouts in the past. And judging by the photos tweeted out by Vikings staffers, head coach Mike Zimmer wasn't fazed by today's soggy weather.
Unfortunately, today's OTA workout was not open to us media types. We are allowed to be out there tomorrow, though, so look for updates then.
And if we spot Peterson tomorrow, we'll let you know. But I don't expect to see him until next month's mandatory minicamp — at the earliest.
