We wanted to pass along an item involving a partnership between the Vikings and USA Football regarding a youth coaching school to be held Saturday, July 24 at Winter Park.
The clinic runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. High school coaches from across the metro area will instruct youth coaches on a variety of subjects, including fundamentals, concussion awareness, proper equipment fitting and communicating with players and parents.
Former Vikings running back Chuck Foreman will serve as the keynote speaker.
Coaches can register at usafootball.com. Cost is $40, which includes lunch, a gift bag and T-shirt.
