Vikings vice president of player personnel Rick Spielman was among the many NFL executives who showed up in Austin, Texas on Wednesday to watch quarterback Colt McCoy at his Pro Day.
The Fort-Worth Star-Telegram reported that representatives from 30 NFL teams attended Texas' Pro Day. McCoy completed 55 of 55 passes in his throwing exercises. Just like Oklahoma's Sam Bradford, McCoy is coming off a right shoulder injury that left him unable to do much at the NFL Scouting Combine in February.
It's unclear where McCoy might be selected in the NFL draft later this month but I'm in no way convinced the Vikings have interest in him at this point.
