Atlanta -

Ben Goessling, Mark Craig, Andrew Krammer and myself are in the press box at Mercedes-Benz Stadium to cover Vikings-Falcons.

A few words about the new joint.

I love U.S. Bank Stadium. I think it's a beautiful space with a view of a beautiful downtown. I prefer it to Mercedes-Benz, which feels overdone and almost too big. But MB does have a few advantages.

The concourses here are much wider than at US Bank. And the prices are much more reasonable. You can get popcorn for $2, water for $3. My wife bought a souvenir cup for $4 and gets free refills. At US Bank, it's $7 for one souvenir cup with no refills. Water at US Bank was $7 last time I went there as a fan.

This stadium is well situated to host future Super Bowls. There is area around the stadium for parties, the weather is good and downtown Atlanta can handle big crowds, as it did last night for the SEC title game.

What to watch for today: The Falcons' secondary is beat up. I see a big game for Adam Thielen, and the game being decided by the ability of the Falcons' pass rush to create sacks and turnovers.

Rashad Hill will start again at right tackle for Mike Remmers. He may be a key in what should be a loud environment.
