Three weeks after the Lions stunned them in an overtime win at U.S. Bank Stadium, the Vikings will spend Turkey Day in the Motor City in a game that ultimately could decide who wins the NFC North. The Lions, the home team on a short week, have the edge. Prediction: Lions 22, Vikings 19.

THREE BIG STORYLINES

LONG INJURY REPORT

The Vikings really could use three more days of rest and recovery. Terence Newman is doubtful to play, and fellow cornerback Captain Munnerlyn and receiver Stefon Diggs are among those questionable to play.

LINEBACKER IN LIMBO

Veteran OLB Chad Greenway and his wife are expecting their fourth child any minute now, and Greenway says if his wife goes into labor before the game he plans to be with her at the hospital.

7 OUT OF 10 AIN'T BAD

Pat Shurmur made his debut as interim coordinator against the Lions three weeks ago. It has helped out QB Sam Bradford, who completed at least 70 percent of his passes in all three of those games.

TWO KEY MATCHUPS

Vikings CB Xavier Rhodes vs. Lions WR Golden Tate

Rhodes, who was just named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his two-pick performance in the win over the Cardinals, should trail Tate, who scored the game-winner three weeks ago when lined up outside.

Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph vs. Lions LBs

The Lions have been exploited by TEs this season. Rudolph scored a goal-line TD against them three weeks ago but had a quiet game overall. The Vikings might need him to make some noise.

One stat that matters

13 Missed tackles by the Vikings three weeks ago, including one on the game-winning score.

The Vikings will win if…

Bradford gets in a groove early, the pass rush stays on a roll and Blair Walsh, who missed a pair of key kicks in Week 9, doesn't sneak into Ford Field wearing Kai Forbath's jersey.

The Lions will win if…

Diggs sits out and no one steps up in his absence, DE Ziggy Ansah comes out of hiding to exploit T.J. Clemmings and QB Matthew Stafford leads another comeback.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
