State of Minnesota Veterans Day celebration, Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs. Event will ­feature state and congressional officials, enlisted members of the U.S. Armed Forces, elementary students, Miss Minnesota, 34th Infantry Division Band. Visitors may write holiday cards to deployed service members, courtesy of the American Red Cross. Lake Minnetonka Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. "Plant a Flag for Freedom" event in Heritage Park.
