Attention kids: Applications are due by June 22 for the Uptown Art Fair's youth-talent event. Entrants between the ages of 8 and 18 are eligible to presents their work in the "Tomorrow's Stars Youth Art Fair." Categories include everything from painting and sculpture to photography and jewelry. Only 45 applicants will be accepted, and there is a $20 fee for each application.
The Uptown Art Fair runs August 3 - 5 near the intersection of Hennepin Av. and W. Lake St. Art by "Tomorrow's Art Stars" will be displayed in Calhoun Square, 3001 Hennepin Av., from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug 4 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 5.
