No, this won't be a post regarding author Stephen King's 51st novel (though, if you want to read about that, feel free to click here)

The coffee's hot, my bagel was delicious and we're less than an hour away from state semifinal football here at the Metrodome - just a few hops, skips and jumps away from Star Tribune World Headquarters. That's quite nice for us preps scribes from this side of the river; I was able to use my own parking spot today.

The Wolverines from Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley were on the field just getting a feel for the place when I got here about 30 minutes ago, and now have returned in full pads. I have yet to see any of the Stephen-Argyle Central Storm, but I have no doubt they'll be on the turf soon. When you've advanced this far in 13 of the last 14 years, you tend to remember where to go.

This 9-Man semifinal is set for 8am. After that, I'll be here for the Class 1A semifinal between Adrian and Fosston. Same schedule tomorrow, same scribe to take you through the morning.

Check back here often for updates, and I'm on Twitter as 'stensation' if you'd like to check that out as well.
