Work lights and their bright orange extension cords become characters in this three-part dance work. They are moved about the space, turned on and off, acting as part of the choreography. They aren't interesting enough as objects, though, to sustain the hour-long performance and in some cases they light the stage so poorly that you can't see the performers. Still, Jesse Neumann-Peterson's performance in the first section captivates in its precision of movement, and director/choreographer Sharon Picasso offers a spellbinding sound design, which layers audio interviews, industrial sounds, bells and music.
