A driver ran a stop sign in western Wisconsin, hit tree and was killed, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 9 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of 10½th Avenue and 13th Street in Barron, the Barron County Sheriff's Office said.
The victim was identified as Kerensa Davenport, 44, of Barron. Davenport did not have on a seat belt, the Sheriff's Office said.
Davenport was heading east on 10½th, went she went through the stop sign and hit the tree, the Sheriff's Office added.
