Students can start ordering season tickets for 2016-2017 Gophers football, men's basketball and men's hockey on Friday at 9 a.m.

The Gold Package will include a ticket to each game for all three sports and is priced at $260. The Maroon Package includes season tickets to football and the choice of men's hockey or men's basketball for $175.

Individual sport season-ticket packages also return for a second straight year after a brief setback in 2014 when the university only offered bundled plans focused around football.

The bundle-only approach drew criticism from Gov. Mark Dayton and student leadership, forcing the university to back off the new policy.

Football tickets are $90. Men's hockey and basketball are $99 each. A Victory Lot pass is $50.

April 1 has been declared "Be a Gopher Day" at the university to celebrate student support and will include giveaways, free food around campus, and the chance to meet Gophers coaches.

Among the events is "Be a Gopher Bonanza" held in the football locker room at TCF Bank Stadium. The bonanza will feature a Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament, Ping Pong tournament and Bubble Hockey tournament.
