What: Competition in men's, women's and rhythmic gymnastics at the junior and senior levels will determine the U.S. champions and members of the U.S. national teams.

When: Wednesday through Saturday

Where: Xcel Energy Center (men's and women's), Roy Wilkins Auditorium (rhythmic)

TV: NBC will televise the women's finals live on Saturday (7-9 p.m.) and the men's finals on tape delay (Sunday, 1:30-3 p.m.). Universal Sports will air live coverage of the men's finals on Friday (7-10 p.m.) and the first day of women's competition on Thursday (7-9 p.m.).

Schedule: Wednesday, first day of competition for junior men (1 p.m.) and senior men (6:30 p.m.); Thursday, first day of competition for junior women (1 p.m.) and senior women (6:30 p.m.); Friday, rhythmic junior and senior all-around preliminaries and event finals (9 a.m.) and finals for junior men (1 p.m.) and senior men (6:30 p.m.); Saturday, rhythmic junior and senior all-around finals (9 a.m.) and finals for junior women (1 p.m.) and senior women (6:30 p.m.).

Local competitors: Six athletes with local ties have qualified for the championships. Jessie DeZiel of Rogers (senior level) and Maggie Nichols of Little Canada (junior), both members of the Twin City Twisters club, are part of the women's field. Eden Prairie residents Julia Garbuz, Daniella Romashin and Ariella Kudishevich will compete at the junior level in rhythmic gymnastics. Ellis Mannon of Indianapolis (junior men) will join the Gophers men's program this fall.
