Chelsea: The European Premier League powerhouse is trying to rebound after a disappointing 2015-16 season that began fresh off the Blues' fifth league championship but ended with a 10th-place finish. After a summer of change, Chelsea has a new manager — Antonio Conte, who led the Italian national team to a quarterfinal finish in last month's Euro Cup before taking the new job. It also has two intriguing newly signed players in N'Golo Kante and Michy Batshuayi. Both will be part of the 30-man squad that will travel to Minneapolis.

AC Milan: The Italian unit has suffered a tumble from glory of sorts in recent years. It finished seventh in the country's Serie A league and failed to qualify in the Euro competitions for the third consecutive season. It enters the Champions Cup trying to rebuild its image under new coach Vicenzo Montella, a retired Italian footballer who is aiming for his club to craft a quicker, more efficient offensive attack. The team's biggest star, Carlos Bacca, is skipping the tour along with Mattia De Sciglio for what Milan is calling "fitness" reasons.
