U, MnSCU win with surprise bonding bill

More than a third of the $500 million bonding bill unveiled Tuesday will go to the state's colleges and universities.

More than a third of the surprise $500 million bonding bill unveiled Tuesday will go to the state's colleges and universities.

There's $30 million for repair and renovation projects at the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and $25 million for such projects at the U. There's $42 million for a new science and engineering building at St. Cloud State University. There's $51 million for a new Physics and Nanotechnology Building at the U.
