The Gophers men’s hockey team’s second Big Ten game of the season against Penn State was moved to Oct. 15 to avoid a Saturday night conflict with the football team.

With the football team playing host to Michigan State at 7 p.m. Oct. 14, at TCF Bank Stadium, the hockey team’s series finale against the Nittany Lions was pushed back to 3 p.m. Oct. 15.

Fox Sports North will televise the Sunday game.

U volleyball at No. 6

With their second loss in as many weeks, the Gophers volleyball team fell three spots to No. 6 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association poll.
