A University of Minnesota spokesperson has confirmed that football coach Jerry Kill suffered a seizure in the locker room after Saturday's 21-13 loss to Northwestern at TCF Bank Stadium.

Kill was taken to a hospital. He is alert and resting comfortably. There was no further information. An official release from the University said an update was likely Sunday.

Kill suffered a seizure on the field last season.
