Was broadcast traffic reporter Juli Jay at the Eagle's Nest bar the night she severely injured her right leg, as well as the night of her arrest on suspicion of DWI?

An insider at the bar, who would not say this with name attached, claims Jay injured her leg outside the Eagle's Nest, which is located at Broadway Pizza's Robbinsdale location. In an interview about her recovery from her leg injury and her hopes for returning to FOX 9 in January, Jay refused to disclose the name of "the restaurant" where she was when she injured herself in what she described as a freak accident involving a bike rack.

A week after my interview was videotaped with Jay, she was arrested on suspicion of DWI by Golden Valley police. The criminal complaint filed by Golden Valley prosecutor Frank Rondoni traces Jay's frightening trek from the Eagle's Nest to a propane tank near the intersection of Duluth Street and Hwy. 100, where her black SUV came to rest. In between, she went across westbound lanes and eastbound lanes, up and over a sidewalk and down a ditch; a glass containing alcohol and ice cubes was found in the car, the complaint states.

According to the court document, an Eagle's Nest bartender described Jay as annoying, obnoxious and begging for more to drink after last call just before the incident. "The bartender refused, indicating that she had already had too much to drink," the court document states.

Jay was apparently not so far gone as to volunteer much after police showed up. She would not tell officers her name or provide urine or blood or breath for testing. Screaming and swearing, Jay also allegedly made insulting comments to the police, a pattern of behavior that continued when she was booked into the Hennepin County jail.

The MetroNOdome Has the last game been played at the Dome?

It's looking beyond flaccid, beyond the recuperative powers of all the stadium Viagra in the world, in the wake of Snownami 2010.

A source tells me that while the Dome may be done for this season, the Vikings are contracted to play there through 2011, so expect the landmark to be reinflated. It may be demolished shortly thereafter, though. And my source expects vigorous debate about whether the Teflon roof had outlived its life expectancy, or "Do not use after..." date.

Vikings owner Zygi Wilf would probably be pleased about this development were it not going to cost him big bucks.

But surely he has insurance for this sort of thing. And perhaps there's a claim to be mounted against the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission?

Baby's first haircut Baby Hank Baskett's first haircut, scheduled for Friday at Dick's Sports Barbers in Edina, was canceled when he became ill.

There was a hired film crew at Dick's waiting for the arrival of E! reality TV show star Kendra Wilkinson, her baby and presumably her husband and Baby Hank's daddy, Minnesota Viking Hank Baskett. On Twitter, Wilkinson tweeted about Saturday being little Hank's first birthday. The California girl has not indicated whether she got caught in the snowstorm.

Dick's staffers were reportedly required to sign documents agreeing not to disclose the scheduled video shoot. But all anyone had to do a couple days before the shoot was talk to a neighboring business, where another owner had already heard from a California friend about Kendra's scheduled appearance there with the baby.

Since Hank Senior has not previously gotten his hair cut at Dick's, somebody must have picked this venerable landmark off the Web.

The Merry Miss Richfield Miss Richfield may not include another nod to Penumbra's "Black Nativity" in her new Illusion Theater show, "Bingo Bonanza for the Holidays."

A few years ago, the performer told me, her homage to "Black Nativity" included a bit during which the lights were turned off. "They didn't get it," Miss Richfield said, even though the bit included the sound of her falling over chairs.

In all likelihood, no group will go unsatirized in her "Bingo" show, which runs through Sunday. But in my video of Miss Richfield, some of her comments required censoring.
