Two Target Field contractors who were shot outside the baseball stadium early Saturday are expected to survive.
Police said the two men were part of a company contracted by the stadium to clean up after events such as Friday's Twins game. They were shot just before 3 a.m. Saturday outside the stadium near 5th Street.
Police spokesman John Elder said police are still seeking the shooting suspect and no arrests have been made.
"We do not believe this is a random event," he said.
The two victims, who have not been identified, were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with noncritical gunshot wounds.
