In separate incidents, two men were found dead outside in north Minneapolis on Sunday morning.
Neither case is considered criminal in nature, Minneapolis police said, leaving open the possibility that freezing temperatures could have played a role. Both are under investigation.
The first was found at 8:49 a.m. in the 2300 block of Upton Avenue N.; the second at 9:53 a.m. in the 1800 block of Russell Avenue N.
The Hennepin County medical examiner's office will determine the exact causes of death and will release the names.
