Here are some thoughts following the Twins' 6-5 loss to the Brewers:

WORST LOSS OF THE SEASON: In my mind, it is. Just because of how many different players had negative moments in the game Ervin Santana threw two wild pitches. John Ryan Murphy had a passed ball that allowed a run to score. The Twins had the bases loaded with no outs in the first AND second innings and score runs on groundouts. Miguel Sano misplaying a ball into a double. Byron Buxton dropping a ball twice while trying to throw it to third. Everyone is going to focus on Sano's gaffe in right field, but a lot of people had a hand in this loss. Woof.

SANO IN RIGHT: We saw the worst moment of Sano's experience in right field today. He said he struggled seeing the ball with the stands and the fans in the background. That does happen occasionally. It was something someone like Sano is not used to dealing with, since he's playing right field for the first time. Fans continue to bash the Twins for moving him there from third base. Just keep a few things in mind:
1. He wasn't a good third baseman to start with.
2. He's 270-something pounds. It's not going to look good wherever he plays.
3. He should have played some outfield in the minors.

Despite this, he can become a good outfielder, if he is as willing to learn the position as the Twins say he is.

BUXTON IN CENTER: Twins manager Paul Molitor said Yadiel Rivera was goiing to third all the way in the ninth inning when Buxton had trouble getting the ball back in the infield after chasing down his drive. He doesn't think the Twins had much of a play. But Buxton thinks he did, and I think a good relay makes it interesting if Buxton gets that ball back in quickly. Who knows? The way things are going for the Twins right now, Rivera might have scored from second. Or Scooter Gennett, the next hitter (and Twins killer) might have blasted a home run, the way he's going.

USELESS INFO: Ervin Santana spent five years growing his hair out to the become the mop of tightly-wound threads he had when he joined the Twins. But he decided to cut the haif off and looks...weird. Anyway, he's lost so much hair that his cap size has shrunk from 7-5/8 to 6-7/8. Use that information to your advantage.

Etc. How did you like Tim Timmons' strike zone today?
