Twins outfielder Delmon Young is the DH and batting third today in a B-game against the Pirates on a back field here. It will be Young's first action of the spring since coming to camp with turf toe,

Anthony Slama is waiting for results of an MRI exam on his elbow. He said he was trying to pitch through the discomfort but it's at the point where they want to make sure there's nothing seriously wrong.

Update: As you probably read on twitter and through Howard Sinker, Justin Morneau played in the B-game and was 1-for-2 with a bases-clearning double to right. It was his first game of any kind since July 7 of last year. how he feels after the game will be key.

Delmon Young played in the B-game, drawing two walks.

Kevin Slowey looked sharp durng a three- inning stint.
