J.J. Hardy is on the pre-game workout list, but it remains unclear if he's going to test his bruised left wrist today. If Hardy can't do anything early today, he could land on the DL and Trevor Plouffe could head back to the majors.

The Twins have swept opponents twice this year but this is the 10th time the Twins have had a chance to sweep a series.

Pitchers are taking batting practice today in preparation for interleague road games. All of them are trying to hit homers. There have been a couple. The problem is they were hit by Matt Guerrier, Jon Rauch, Ron Mahay, Jesse Crain and Jose Mijares - at least when i was watching - and when are they going to get an at-bat?

Updates after the Gardy presser.

Update: Hardy will be examined by Twins doctors around game time, and a decision will be made whether to place him on the disabled list or not. Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said he's willing to wait a couple more days if that's all that's needed for Hardy to return to action.

But Hardy did report to the ballpark feeling better than in recent days.

Orlando Hudson was out out the field before the game going throough rehab work for his sore left wrist.

Clay Condrey threw in the bullpen with no problems and is a couple days way from heading down to Fort Myers; Fla., to face hitters at extended spring training.
