Twins agree to contracts with Robbie Grossman, Ehire Adrianza, Ryan Pressly, Trevor May

Only starting pitcher Kyle Gibson is unsigned among the team's arbitration eligible players.

The Twins have avoided arbitration by agreeing to one-year contracts with outfielder Robbie Grossman, utilityman Ehire Adrianza, and pitchers Trevor May and Ryan Pressly.

Grossman's deal is worth $2 million. The 28-year-old hit nine home runs and had 45 RBI, with a slash line of .246/.361/.380 in 2017. He played 63 of his 119 games as a designated hitter. He made $552,500 last season.

Adrianza hit .265/.324/.383 with two home runs and 24 RBI last season with the Twins. The 28-year-old came to the Twins after three seasons with the Giants. He played all four infield positions, the outfield and designated hitter last season. His deal is worth $1 million.

May's contract will be worth $650,000 and Pressly will get $1.6 million.

Pressly, 29, pitched in 57 games last season and had 61 strikeouts in 61.1 innings, with a 1.158 WHIP and 4.70 ERA. He spent part of the season at Class AAA Rochester. He made $1.175 million last season.

May, 28, was injured last season, suffering a torn elbow ligament in March. He pitched the previous three seasons, and 102 games, for the Twins. He gets a raise of $100,000.

Pitcher Kyle Gibson is the Twins' remaining arbitration eligible player. Gibson earned $2.9 million last season, when he was 12-10 with a 5.07 ERA.

Infielder Eduardo Escobar, the sixth arbitration-eligible Twin, agreed to a $4.85 deal on Thursday.
