They went 5-2 against the Red Sox last year, breaking an eight-year losing streak in the season series. … 1B Joe Mauer is one double away from 350 for his career, a milestone that only Kirby Puckett (414) ever reached with the Twins. … Three of 2B Brian Dozier's 82 career home runs came off Porcello, more than any other pitcher. … Gibson will be making his first start since April 22, after missing six weeks because of a shoulder strain and back stiffness.
