Q: Will "Project Runway" be returning?

A: The reality competition will be back with a new season on Aug. 6 on Lifetime. It will include Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn along with judges Nina Garcia and Zac Posen.

But that's not the end of the brand. "Project Runway Junior," featuring designers 14 to 17 years old, is in the works for fall. Gunn will co-host with Hannah Davis, while the judges will include Christian Siriano and Aya Kanai. And 2016 will bring a new installment of "Project Runway All-Stars," again hosted by Alyssa Milano.

No '24' plans

Q: Can you tell me if "24" is going to be on TV this summer, or if any plans are in the works to bring it back?

A: I know of no plans for a new "24" in the near future. But discussions of additional installments of the thriller series never seem to stop. The most recent talk had the show coming back but without Kiefer Sutherland; instead there would be a new main character.

TVLine's Michael Ausiello said this in early June: "The project would find the new male antihero working alongside an older, more seasoned female agent (not Yvonne Strahovski's Kate Morgan, although she also may appear). It would also launch as a limited series, similar to last year's acclaimed '24: Live Another Day,' but I'm told the offshoot could easily become a long-term property for Fox."

No 'Resurrection'

Q: I am wondering what happened to two of my favorite shows, "Resurrection" and "Black Box." Will they be coming back?

A: No on both counts. ABC decided not to continue "Resurrection" after two seasons, or "Black Box" after one.

No 'Motive'

Q: Is the detective story "Motive" coming back this summer?

A: Not on ABC, which saw low ratings for the first two seasons of the Canadian-made drama. But it may turn up elsewhere, since production continued in Canada on a third season, and a fourth season has been ordered. At this writing, I have not found a broadcaster or online source for U.S. viewers for the third season.
