Special edition

"Inside Edition" celebrates its 30th season with an upgrade in the local schedule. Deborah Norville recovered nicely from her short stint on "Today" and, with a 22-year run as host, is the longest-serving anchor of a daily broadcast news program. Trivia question: Do you remember who the first host was? None other than David Frost, who only lasted three weeks and was eventually replaced by Bill O'Reilly.

Saddle up

It says something about the deep bench on "BoJack Horseman" that it can successfully kick off a new season with an episode that doesn't include its title character. Our "hero" does eventually emerge and he's as complex and forlorn as ever. No other animated series does as fine a job of mixing angst with pop-culture digs.

I, robot

Alex Hook is poised to be the next teen superstar, if only because she stars in "I Am Frankie," yet another sitcom from the Nickelodeon factory. She's a high schooler harboring the fact that she's a cutting-edge android with internet access — and true feelings about humans.
