Practical magic

Hallmark's highest-rated movie series continues with "The Good Witch's Wonder," in which "JAG" veteran Catherine Bell once again plays the most charming sorceress this side of the South of Oz. In this installment, she must plan her stepson's wedding while running a silent auction. What spell can deal with that kind of pressure? 8 p.m. Saturday, Hallmark

Ice, ice baby

Mr. Snuffleupagus has nothing on the stars of "Mammoths Unearthed," a new documentary in which two unorthodox scientists attempt to secure the frozen carcasses of mammoths from the melting permafrost of Siberia. Unfortunately, only Big Bird believes they truly exist. 7 p.m. Sunday, National Geographic Channel

The end of an era

The future doesn't look so bright for Nucky Thompson as fans get set for the series finale of "Boardwalk Empire." The show never had the following of its kissing cousin, "The Sopranos," but it deserves every bit of the same respect thanks in large part to its stunning cinematography and its colorful cast of villains. Watching Nucky fade from the limelight should be must-see TV for fans of rich drama. 8 p.m. Sunday, HBO
