Copycat

Fox executives seem to think there's something truly frightening about British accents. How else to explain "Gracepoint," which starts off as an Americanized carbon copy of the English miniseries "Broadchurch." It features the same leading man (David Tennant), the same plot and even some of the same camera shots. Go watch the original and skip this waste of time, even though it will mean missing a bizarre performance from Nick Nolte. 8 p.m., KMSP, Ch. 9

Cristin Milioti, who turned out to be the title character in "How I Met Your Mother," makes goo-goo eyes at "Mad Men" regular Ben Feldman in "A to Z," an all-too cutesy sitcom that appears to be created by writers who have very limited experience on the dating scene. You can now get back to missing the golden days of NBC's Thursday night comedy block. 8:30 p.m., KARE, Ch. 11
