Hosts with the most

The fact that Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart are inviting guests over for a social hour every week somehow escaped my radar, but I've been made aware of "Martha and Snoop's Dinner Party" just in time for Thanksgiving. The guest list this season includes Ice Cube, Rick Ross and Kathy Griffin.

Missing in action

"Search Party" is the latest "sitcom" more interested in developing characters than generating laughs. While that's admirable, it doesn't quite work here. Alia Shawkat ("Arrested Development") stars as a personal assistant who tries to escape her pedestrian life by attempting to track down a missing person she barely knows. It's about as much fun as an egg hunt at a second-grader's party — at least until an unhinged Rosie Perez shakes things up in the second episode.
