We'll be right back

Paul Reiser helped create "There's ... Johnny!," a nostalgic new sitcom about a wide-eyed kid who stumbles into a behind-the-scenes job at "The Tonight Show" during its heyday. The series suffers from relying on old footage of Johnny Carson and Ed McMahon (Tony Danza plays producer Fred de Cordova), but Jane Levy as a talent wrangler is the real ringmaster here, showing that the spunk and comic timing she displayed in ABC's "Suburgatory" wasn't just a fluke.

We go together

Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., might make a great addition to the T-Birds, but that's not why he's appearing on "Hot Grease." The decidedly nonmusical documentary takes a look at how a company is using kitchen grease as a renewable energy source. To keep politics even-steven, Iowa's Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley also shows up to give his support.

Family reunion

"Peep Show" veterans David Mitchell and Robert Webb reunite for "Back," the very funny, very British comedy about a neglected son who must deal with a con artist who pops up out of nowhere, claiming to be his long-lost brother. Excessive squirming ensues. Simon Blackwell, one of the key contributors to "Veep," is the show's creator.
