The sound of music

Every Friday this month, TCM is paying tribute to road-show musicals, starting with "Funny Girl" (7 p.m.), "Sweet Charity" (9:45 p.m.) and "Fiddler on the Roof" (12:30 a.m.). Humming along is strongly encouraged.

Going in style

"Fashion Police" sheriff Kathy Griffin makes her own clothes calls when she dresses her former assistant in the season premiere of "Say Yes to the Dress." The episode will also feature Tony Danza trying to find the right fit for the red-carpet premiere of Broadway's "Honeymoon in Vegas." 9 p.m. Friday, TLC

Tall drink of water

"Vice," the left-leaning newsmagazine, returns for a third season with a look at how Antarctica is melting and what the ramifications might be. Vice President Joe Biden is among those who are interviewed. 10 p.m. Friday, HBO

Worthy laughs

When he's not providing the bark for Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, Robert Smigel is raising money for a cause close to his heart. He's been putting together an annual telethon, "Night of Too Many Stars: America Comes Together for Autism Education," ever since his son was diagnosed with the disorder. Jon Stewart hosts. 7 p.m. Sunday, Comedy Central
